Drink Lots Of Water.
Oddly enough, I reckon that’s all that needs posting for today. As water will, most certainly, be the singular item to get us back on track post the Easter chocolate bender most were sure to have been on yesterday. So let’s get that chocolate moving through Gorgeous Ones! Ey Up!
Maybe Try This At Home?
We came across this unusual, yet rather folksy fab, homemade recipe for sunless tanner and thought we’d give it a go. It’s uber-easy, much like we love and most good folks are likely to have the ingredients on hand to whip up their own bit of a beaut tan. All you need is a super strong cup of black tea (loose leaves preferably) left to steep for the better part of an hour and a sea sponge or something similar to apply. After the tea has steeped and is coolish to touch, dip the sponge into the strong black tea and then artfully dab it onto the areas you wish to faux tan. The good thing about self tanning with black tea is that it doesn’t seem to streak and can be reapplied in layers to build up to a reasonable level of colour. We did notice, however, that you should leave each layer to dry before applying the next to get the most noticeable increase in colour. Who would have thought it was as easy or as cheap as that? Too nifty.
A Gorgeous Gospel.

“As our hearts become filled with light, we automatically project this light into a very dark and unloving world. And as a lamp brings light into a room, our “lamp” brings light into the world around us.” -Susan Jeffers, Ph.D
Eye Real Estate 101.
I have received a few emails of late asking about some of the many makeup placement terms used when describing the whereabouts and the why for of eye makeup artistry, which instantly reminded me of a Beauty Marked! post of yore that may just do the trick when it comes to explaining some of the terms often bantered about when it comes to all things eye makeup: If You’re Going To Walk The Walk. Hope this helps a bit when your talking your beautiFULL talk.

Please Don’t Make A Spectacle.
A little left of centre perhaps, but being your good grooming guru that we love to be, Beauty Marked! just wanted to give a gentle reminder to those who may not be in the know when it comes to all things etiquette apropos of sunglasses. De-spectacle oneself when inside, because even as fabulous as many sunnies of the season may be, they really should be cased when indoors as to not risk looking a tad wannabe or disrespectful. Be mindful of transition lenses as well as they can have a similar effect. Also, when attending a work meeting, even if outdoors and if the sun seems exceedingly brilliant, do go sans sunglasses. Although it wouldn’t ever be your intention, sunglasses at a meeting can come across somewhat untrustworthy, a bit posey, and disinterested. Let them see your eyes and really get to know how genuine you most certainly are. Other than the aforementioned, it is absolutely fine to make an utterly gorgeous spectacle of yourself and we most certainly hope that you do.
The Only Impression.
