Disruptions To Perception.

I had a thought, dangerous thing, I know. (*note to self: must stop doing that!) I wondered why we so often criticize or are self-deprecating to our beautiful selves? I am certain that we wouldn’t even be tempted to inflict such wounds onto others, but almost as if instinctive and without much thought, we can usher such harsh criticism onto ourselves. Just as soon as the aforementioned thought moved through my mind, I realized that when we act in such a manner towards ourselves, we are having a real disruption to our true perception of our infinite beauty and that of others. We’re having a break in transmission, if you like. When such disruptions or breaks in transmission occur, we can find ourselves in a position where it’s darn near impossible for us to see our own beauty, the beauty that abundantly surrounds us or the beauty to which we are connected to and such disruptions can cause a loss of joyous self-expression.

So why not view these momentary disruptions to our perception as the gliches or breaks in transmission that they are and think nothing of them? With a bit of luck and before long, we won’t even notice these breaks in transmission or (more importantly) their effects and then they will eventually cease to be. We will then be able to fully and wonderously live our lives secure in the flawless connection to that which is infinitely beautiful and brings tremendous joy. Now that’s living!
