The Beauty Of Nature.

There is absolute bankable certainty that when we get out amongst nature we are synched to the infinite beauty of the outdoors. Perhaps it’s simply the opportunity to commune with the ever present marvels of mother nature and to all that we are directly related. Being out amidst nature greatly refreshes our energy levels and profoundly renews our spirit. Albeit hackneyed, but true all the same…journey outdoors and take time to smell the roses and take note of the abundance of beauty that abounds. Know that you are part of the magnificence of nature and that you are beautiful!

Beauty never slumbers; all is in her name. But the rose remembers the dust from which it came. - Edna St. Vincent Millay

Thank You.

When I sat at my desk in preparation to write the Get Even More Gorgeous With Beauty Marked! blog for today, I was humbled by a singular thought. This thought, oddly enough, is not a thought that I have every now and again, but in fact, one that I have every single day of my beauty-FULL working life. That thought, that very lovely thought was how grateful I am to be able to do what I really love to do and that a large part of the thanks is due to our infinitely beautiful Beauty Marked! readership. So thank you gorgeous ones, for inspiring and supporting me to do a job that I truly love. *SQUISH*

Castor Oil Does More Than Get You Going.

Seriously, did you know that castor oil is the main ingredient in most nonprescription brow growth products? Cheap as chips too. All you need to do is get a hold of some castor oil and a cotton bud. Funnily enough, getting a hold of some castor oil might prove to be the trickiest part of the operation. I nabbed a bottle from my local supermarket in the aisle that houses the things that get you going the good old fashioned way. *blush* But when you do find some castor oil… dip the cotton bud lightly into the cap of the castor oil. Next, gently run the bud over the back of your hand to rub off excess castor oil. After you’re satisfied that you only have the tiniest amount of the castor oil on your cotton bud, gently wipe the bud across your eyebrows and onto the section where you’d like to have more brows. Mind you, the operative word here is “tiniest”, otherwise you will have an ecological disaster on your hands. This oil slick will only add insult to injury by potentially causing breakouts, further highlighting any brow issues! Apply the castor oil treatment as often as you can, especially at the end of the day after cleansing and moisturizing for the night. In fact, this time is ideal. Thanks to this nifty trick, Robert’s your mother’s brother and you’ll have fabbo brows in no time. Sweet!

Prior To Proceeding To Boarding Gate.

When traveling by airplane, your skin is likely to to dry out from the cabin air if left to its own devices. Prior to flying, apply liberal amounts of quality moisturizer to your face, hands, body, and lip balm to your lips (preferably petroleum free). Although high maintenance and not entirely integral, water spritzes are effective, but only if applied often during the flight. But, and it’s a big but, if you water spritz without ensuring that a liberal amount of moisturizer has been applied and quite possibly reapplied prior to spritzing, you’ll soon end up with ultra dehydrated and ashen skin. More than likely, not the effect you were going for. Perhaps the water is best drunken and not spritzed. (That sounds rather Bond-ish doesn’t it?) So before heading on-board, do make sure you’ve got yourself all moisturized-up and expect a great flight!

Beauty Tips From A True Professional.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day. - Audrey Hepburn

Just A Wee Nag.

Just a little reminder that sunscreen is good stuff. Truly. Just think of its texture as liquid love. Okay, maybe greasy, goopy love, but love all the same. Sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB and no less than SPF 30 is always the go. It matters not if you prefer to wear it in your foundation, moisturizer, or neat but that you do wear it. Also, be sure to apply and reapply sunscreen liberally and regularly as that’s key to ensuring its greatest effectiveness. After all, there’s only one of your abundantly beautiful self and you owe it to the rest of us to make sure you keep it that way. Cool Bananas!

If we lived in an ideal/UV-free world, there would be just one product that one wouldn’t want to be without and quite frankly only one product that one might just possibly need. This exceptional beauty product comes from the same place that legends are made of: La Maison De Beauté CARITA Paris. I’m talking the super luxurious CARITA Fluide De Beauté 14 Pailleté. The fragrance of the unique CARITA Fluide De Beauté 14 Pailleté fragrance subsumes an ethereal mix of lemon, bergamot, orange, verbena, musk, and Lily of the Valley. It really doesn’t get much better than this.
