Spare A Spritz…
Spare a spritz of a gorgeously scented perfume for the darling young girl that adoringly watches as we get ready for the day. Just a petite spritz or dab on the wrist, neck, or behind the ears of our cherished little beauty allows her the opportunity to share in a glimpse of her rightful journey into the world of her own infinite beauty and to feel and smell the specialness that a luxe, heady fragrance brings. She then is gently and lovingly introduced to a part of what we prize about this beautiFULL world we gracefully exist in. Just one small loving spritz can have such a wonderfully big impact. I have read in a magazine, I think Cleo, that stated applying perfume behind your ears is not a good idea and dangerous. It absorbs into your sebaceous (im sure thats how you spell it!)gland, and, firstly, changes the overall scent and toxic chemicals flow through your body!!

The skin behind your ears is much the same as skin on your neck, wrist, behind the knees or inner elbow as a matter of fact. There are no more or no less sebaceous glands (sebum secreting glands) there. Therefore, the absorption of perfume from there is no greater than any other area where fragrance is traditionally worn. So rest easy. Also, the molecules contained in perfume, specifically those that are synthetically derived are so terribly large that they have very little to no hope of passing through the semipermeable epidermis there and entering into the blood stream. These areas are also not overly vascular near the surface, in any case as in the eye or like most other mucous membraned areas. So, it’s as safe as houses.
Forgive the length of my reply to your comment, it’s just the very long standing Registered Nurse in me that won’t seem to quit…no matter how hard I try. LOL I’m sure you understand.
