A Funny Thing Happened On The Way…
To the Forum. Okay. Okay. Well, maybe not to the Forum, exactly. Yesterday, I received another consignment of beauty goodies to test for you and amongst the various new beauty bits was this unassuming darling of a fragrance that did, indeed, catch me by surprise. Somewhere while opening up and having a quick peek at the beauty products, I must have spritzed on a bit of this intriguing fragrance, put it away and moved on to other things. As the day went on, I kept getting the most glorious little whiffs of summer. I’m not talking that tragically over done “summer” smell of seriously annoying, over populated, hideously sandy beaches and clawing coconut tanning oil, but of lovely lofty breezes filled with fruity florals, soft clouds, and beautiful blue skies. You know the ones. I kept saying to myself and even once out loud, I’m sure, “what is that gorgeous smell?” Well, it was only after a better part of the day had past, that I realized it was the new fragrance I received earlier in the day. Of course! I should of recognized the delightful top notes of sunny orange blossom, Sicilian bergamot, and Japanese pear martinis, or the mid notes of hydroponic gardenia, white peony petals, and blue hyacinth. Even the delectable dry down of tonka bean, heliotrope, and white musk illuded me. But the penny did eventually drop and it did so in the most perfect way: Calvin Klein Eternity summer.
