A Rose By Any Other Name…
It really is an enormous undertaking, which spans countless faculties, when one decides to hang with the “firebrands” of fragrance. It’s very serious stuff, indeed. Although I can’t be sure, but I am reasonably certain, small land wars have been fought over the dry down of a scent or two. One can easily feel out of their depth when attempting to opine about the exceedingly complex nature of fragrance. But really, it’s all about how a scent smells to you and how fabulous it makes you feel, isn’t it?
From my vantage point, Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionnelle EDT, is so very feminine and equally flirtatious, that not much further remarking need be made. Eau Emotionnelle is often called the “charming sister” to Agent Provocateur’s inimitable and unabashed signature scent: Agent Provocateur. Eau Emotionnelle has top notes of wild rosemary and pink pepper, middle notes of jasmine, osmanthus, magnolia, and white tea, and base notes of woods and musk. Having personally never had the pleasure of consciously smelling a magnolia, pink pepper, or the evergreen shrub osmanthus, which is apparently common in southern US, Middle East, China, and Japan, I couldn’t begin to tell you if this smells true. But I am very aware of a extraordinarily complex, polygamic marriage of scents that exist with playful allure in this beguiling bottle. Agent Provocateur’s Eau Emotionnelle EDT is the one you reach for when you feel like inciting others to commit emotive acts based far from reason.
